Leave of Absence
The formula to calculate FTE for a leave of absence is based on the number of days worked in the district. You subtract the number of days out on leave from 189 and divide that number by 189 to get your percentage FTE.

Eight week maternity leave
189-40=149 divided by 189=.78 FTE

67 day medical leave
189-67=122 divided by 189=.64 FTE
